Publisher's Statement
Premium Pulp Fiction exists to publish books that understand consequence.
I am interested in stories that recognize systems—political, economic, technological, cultural—and place human beings inside them without flinching. I am interested in noir that knows where power actually lives, historical fiction that treats the past as unresolved business, and speculative work that understands the present well enough to imagine what comes next.
This imprint was formed in response to two trends that have hollowed out serious publishing at opposite ends: the outsourcing of risk to authors, and the acceleration of books into disposable content. Neither produces lasting work.
Premium Pulp Fiction operates on a different premise. We acquire selectively. We finance production. We edit carefully. We position deliberately. We publish books we intend to stand behind over time.
I come to this work as a writer, editor, and researcher whose professional life has crossed fiction, history, urbanism, technology, and systems thinking. That background informs how I read manuscripts and how I think about where they belong in the world once they are finished.
This imprint is small by design. Every book is a commitment of attention, capital, and judgment. That is not a limitation. It is the point.
