About Doug
For more than two decades, Douglas Stuart McDaniel has operated at the edge of what organizations can imagine and what they can execute.
He spent years working on at NEOM — the $500 billion Saudi megaproject — one of the most scrutinized and technologically complex urban development initiatives in modern history. What that environment teaches you is irreplaceable: how institutional narratives form under pressure, how decision rights erode when strategy becomes unclear, and how the gap between what leadership says and what the organization hears becomes the most expensive problem no one is measuring.
Prior to that, Doug 17 years at Bechtel advising global mega projects across the nuclear, space, and civil infrastructure megaprojects including airports, rail, defense, and energy sectors.
He is based between Ocean Springs, MS and Barcelona, Spain He works with clients globally.
